Welcome to North West WiFi's online portal!

Our project aims to provide a platform for testing and advancing wireless communications in the Sunraysia area.  We plan to build a freely accessable wireless IP based network, with the ability to supply IP based services to members of our group in a highly cost effective manner.  With our members paying a membership fee to cover the cost of hardware and a team of enthusiastic volunteers designing, building and maintaining the network, we hope to have a very strong project to learn and extend the communications possibilities for our remote region.

With similar projects in surrounding areas, we hope to one day have a shared backbone link west to the Riverland in South Australia, and south east towards Bendigo in Victoria, with that link hopefully picking up Robinvale and Swan Hill on the way.

We are currently looking for people who might be interested in joining our project.
